Schedule Management is a key practice within the Project Management discipline. ECG has assisted numerous customers in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and executing successful Schedule Management, including on extremely large programs. Included in this assistance has been the development of Schedule Management Strategies, detailed Schedule Management Plans, the implementation of scheduling software solutions, and schedule development and support, including design and development of large, complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Best Practices and prevailing government standards – including those provided by the Department of Defense, NASA, Department of Energy, NDIA, GEIA, and GAO – are leveraged as part of our methodology.
With expertise in project planning and scheduling, ECG offers its clients in-depth experience in the design, development, integration, and analysis/reporting of detailed project schedules and multi-project schedules. Our staff is highly competent in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) conceptualization and construction (product-oriented WBS in compliance with MIL-STD-881B), work package management, critical path analysis, resource and cost management, specialized reports (tailored to the customer’s needs), multi-project integration and common critical path analysis, “What-If” analysis, and Early Warning analysis. Schedule health analysis is also provided, including DCMA 14-Point Assessments.
ECG has provided leadership in the implementation and support of project management software solutions in the customer’s environment. Included are gap/requirements analysis, hardware and environment recommendations, software installation and testing, data migration and quality assurance, and training and documentation.
